Fox
£375.00
11" x 14"
Captured in the midst of their daily business this painting was inspired by a photograph taken by @suus_onmyway. The juxtaposition of blending into the background and making their presence felt drew me to wanting to produce this piece.
This painting is finished off in a brushed dark wood floating frame produced by Original Glory in Devizes.

Squirrel
£350.00
11" x 14"
I find I quite often catch a glimpse of these little creatures when I am out and about and then they are gone, so I loved how @cathkipp captured this split second snack time moment.
The background is a familiar blur of the natural world and I feel you can almost hear the rustling of the leaves and the munching on the nut if you look hard enough.
Robin
£175.00
8" x 8"
As a keen veg grower I am often joined by one of these feathered friends whilst I am turning over the soil.
I always enjoy painting them and they really resonate with people.
This image was taken from a photograph taken by @earlyriser69 and I really feel he's captured that fleeting moment in between flight and rest.

Cheetah
£375.00
16"x 20"
Image taken from a photograph by local Wiltshire photographer Alan Benson, this is one of the largest pieces currently in my portfolio and was the most challenging to produce.
The use of black as a background colour I feel adds to the impact of this reflective, thoughtful pose.

Owl
£375.00
16" x 20"
I'm often lulled to sleep by the sound of nearby owls but I 've never been lucky enough to catch more than a fleeting glance of them in person. I think this was why I was drawn to this photograph by Alan Benson.
The delicacy of the feathers and the intense stare provide a strong contrast to the black night-time background.

Kingfisher
£350.00
11" x 14"
I've only seen a Kingfisher once, on a river trip from Bath and it was just a blur of colour in my peripheral vision.
I could almost hear the babbling brook when I saw this photograph taken by Alan Benson and knew it would be a perfect reference for a painting; highlighting Mother Nature's palette at its most exquisite.

Blue Tit
£175.00
8" x 8"
The small size of this piece reflects delicate nature of this lovely photograph by Sarah Chase.
The instantly recognisable colours of the Blue Tit clash against the verdant background to capture a snapshot of what I think is a bright spring day.

Hare
£375.00
11" x 14"
Hares seem to resonate with everyone. I am lucky enough to frequently see them from my studio and they are majestically odd looking!
It was the regal nature of this pose that drew me to this photograph by Alan Benson. This was my first attempt at reproducing the detail of fur with a sword liner brush and various thinning mediums.
This painting is finished off in a brushed dark wood floating frame produced by Original Glory in Devizes.
